Our Services
We are able to use a wide range of materials such as hardened steel, inconel, hastalloy, ceramics, glass, stone, and marble. We are also able to cut softer materials such as rubber, foam, composites, laminates, and plastics. If we receive a drawing from a .dxf file or from a CAD drawing, there is no draw time on our end, which makes programming and set up much faster. However, we are able to draw out products in Turbo CAD for you. Cost of this will add on to non-cutting time. Most products when complete require zero deburring depending on the product being used. Since heat is not involved in the cutting process there is never any thermal distortion, & it is possible to cut from materials such as glass, rubber and foam. Cutting up to 7'' thick material, the waterjet is idea for 2D shapes as well as some simple 3D shapes. |
Waterjet Cutting
While each shop has it's own requirements for cutting projects, most are finding waterjets to be a tremendous asset to their operations - enhancing both productivity, and profitability. Our shop has added waterjet operations to compliment cutting technologies such as milling and plasma cutting. Some factors in choosing waterjet cutting over plasma, usually boils down to three items; cost, quality, and speed (turn around time). The waterjet provides rapid programming, set-up, processing, and clean up. Waterjet cutting gives the ability to cut parts more swiftly and systematically. Giving edge quality and little to no secondary finishing. |

CNC Laser CuttingOur computerized laser cutting equipment uses the latest laser technology for cutting all types of metals. The powerful and precise cutting provided by our system is ideal for economically generating short-run, prototype and/or complicated parts that require complex contours. The high quality results from laser cutting, are considerably more cost effective than other options such as tooling.
We use the following metals, but are able to supply others if needed:
-Carbon Steel -Stainless Steel -Aluminum Our machine is a 2600 watt laser that is capable of handling material that is 48'' x 96'' and laser cut mild steel up to 1/2'' thick. We will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have, and will be happy to give you an estimate. |
